It may sound obvious but couples who want to have a baby should regularly have sex first, say scientists.
A study found women had a better chance of having a healthy baby if they had repeated exposure to their partner's sperm before they conceived.
This was because it gave their immune systems time to build up a tolerance to the foreign fluid and so support a pregnancy
Research author Prof Sarah Robertson from the University of Adelaide, said: 'We now know that an average of at least three to six months coitus with their partner is necessary to get their immune system to respond correctly to enable a healthy pregnancy.'

US Approves Pill For HIV Prevention
The US’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has for the first time approved a drug to prevent HIV infection through sexual activities. The drug, Truvada, is in use since 2004 as a part of retroviral therapy for HIV-I but the FDA green signal on Monday makes it the first approved drug for prevention of the dreaded virus.
Though medically it is a significant step in control of HIV-AIDS, doctors in India say the prohibitive cost of the drug — $14,000 annually — is unlikely to make it a potent weapon from the public health perspective in this country.
The pill has to be taken once daily for prevention of infection but the FDA statement says that it should ideally be used in combination with safe sex practices.

What The Male Pot Belly Stores
A lowdown on the ubiquitous male pot
belly, the storehouse of diseases
Pot bellies ensure that the Indian male vanity takes a big punch in the stomach. But what is worse, is that bad health can be measured in the inches you notch up there. Gaining even two or four extra ones on your belly dramatically raises the risk of various illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and certain types of cancers. Doctors liken a pot belly, clinically termed as central obesity, to a five-kilo bag attempting to carry 10 kilos of tomatoes. Little wonder then that pot bellies destroy posture and spinal alignment over time. Of the two kinds of abdominal fat couching your mid-section, the subcutaneous fat, the one that you can pinch on your tummy, lies under the skin. The real culprit though is the visceral fat, lodged deep in your stomach around the intestines, liver and kidneys. This keeps growing to give you the pot belly.
